cleaning

well it's been a while since i posted last. i guess that's ok. i've been pretty busy.

why is it 1:06am and i'm still up? well, i must say i've been working pretty hard over the past few weeks to get my room not only clean, but organized and practical so that it can just sorta be maintained. i tend to collect a lot of things and i've been trying to purge these things from my room. it's rather dumb actually. every time i clean my room, i always have at least one giant black garbage bag of trash and junk to get rid of. it makes me wonder what my decision making looks like when it comes to things i decide are a good idea to keep.

sure, like in every room there are things you just can't bring yourself to get rid of... your set of ihop syrup dispensers, the slice can you promised somebody sophomore year of high school you would never get rid of, your 150 pez dispensers. but then there's the other things that you just convinced yourself would be cool at one point, but you'll never touch or use again until the day you debate whether to throw it out or not, like... well, i actually can't think of anything even though i just threw out an entire bag of it. why? probably because it didn't mean anything.

just give me one more year and i'll be able to host clean sweep. until then, you can find me in the trenches of my room trying to clean out stupid pack rattiness from my teenage and college years.
