good day

you know how some days just sort of start off on the right note, and end on the right note? today was sort of like that.

first off, the weather was awesome. driving to work this morning, it was just the perfect weather to be wearing a track jacket and shorts and have the windows down. i remember putting my hands out the window later in the day and just thinking about how much it felt like california weather. i miss california.

second, my gas light came on as i was driving home last night. per usual, i ignored it, figuring i'd just fill up the today, cause i had off and i was too tired to stop. well i got called into work today at 7am. i'm driving, and i'm in a hurry to get there on time, and the gas light just goes off, and the gauge starts to climb back up to like 1/8 of a tank. i drove all the way to work and back, and the light still hasn't come back on. whatever you say. i go by the light.

third, i'm about to grill some food with dave and lisa (though, alas, not kristen) and am excited about making a-1 cheeseburgers. yum yum yum.

fourth, i plan to watch arrested development, and go to bed early.

that's my argument for why it was a good day. (minus that one thing).
