As you begin listening to the album, you'll become suspicious that maybe the singer from The Cab isn't the only one singing on the first track. You will swear it sounds like Patrick from Fall Out Boy and the lead singer of Panic! At the Disco. You will be right.
As you listen on, you'll notice there are some very vibrant musical concepts. The album is, in fact, extremely well-produced.
Sadly, as the album spins on, you'll start to notice that the album doesn't maintain the uniquest of pop-rock musical genius you had originally fallen for. By the time you get towards the last part of the album, you get this vibe that they're trying less and less, and beginning to regurgitate their sound. Maybe I just need to listen to it a few more times through; after all, albums do tend to grow on me over time. But nothing really grabbed me past track 5 or 6.
That said, I think it's still worth your time. I tend to be picky and assumptive sometimes. I do feel that if you like Fall Out Boy or Maroon 5, you might actually dig these guys.
I found the album at Target for $9.99, but you might want to give it a listen on iTunes, or just get the album there.
